Choosing a tennis string is not always a simple matter. The choice of a string is a combination of several factors: your playing style, your physical abilities and your expectations of the game. <\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

The tension of your racquet is probably the most important factor to determine. No matter how perfect your stringing is, if your tension is not adapted to your physical and playing characteristics you will not be able to take\r\n advantage of all the benefits of the stringing. The higher the tension of your racquet the more control you will have but the harder it will be to play. On the contrary, if your tension is low you will gain flexibility and\r\n power but you will lose control.<\/p>\r\n

The average tension is 25 Kg.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

\r\n \r\n \r\n What is the difference between a monofilament and a multifilament?<\/span>\r\n

The main difference between these two types of ropes is their structure.<\/p>\r\n

A multifilament<\/span> is composed of several filaments as its name indicates. It is a softer string that absorbs vibrations, providing a higher level of comfort and favoring power over control.<\/p>\r\n

We recommend it for young players, older players and players with arm problems (<\/span>\r\n tennis elbow<\/a> <\/span>or other).<\/p>\r\n

The monofilament<\/span> is stiffer, it will not bring as much power and comfort but will provide you with more control and ball touch. This string is also known for its resistance.<\/p>\r\n

We recommend it for players who tend to break their strings quickly.<\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n
